I was thinking the same thing, how fitting, a National Guard car winning on Memorial Day weekend!

Wow, We now return you to your regular programming..
Thanks to the Pit Crew that handles all the lugnuts around here so nimbly... and all the pic posters too. :-}

Thanks for the thread Gork. I agree about Kyle Petty and I hope he gets a primetime spot on TV when he retires. He could replace Dave da Pain on Speed...

Winners winning on Memorial Day weekend. We should have known before the race started.

Schrader had himself a good weekend. 2nd in the ARCA race Friday night and 3rd in the truck race last night. Probably would have won Friday night except for a rash of cautions late in the race. When I turned it on he was leading.
Don’t like Elliot driving Ken’s car.

Thanks for the update on Kenny. I started following him after Ernie Irvan retired due to his injuries...

Fantasy scores are posted and I am filing a protest on Glock's move from 8th to 5th on a weak score...

Kenny used to live near me. We would see his “Schrader Racing” truck parked across from where I worked at the time. I’ve followed him since then.
I have complained before about the announcers seeming to think there only about 10-12 drivers in a race. When they do bother to mention Kenny they seem to have a lot of respect for him.
I’m also glad to see Kyle Petty and Mayfield have a good race today.

I don’t comment as often as I’d like on the racing threads because I am usually too busy watching the race to post, but I appreciate all that you and the others who are in charge of starting the threads do.
I am especially appreciative of the tributes you provide for our troops. Keep up the good work - all of you!

You served chow on jumbo dog biscuits?Yah, we still have an extra pallet of them from Costco that we're working our way through. Want we should ship you some?

Thanks. What I think you missed was Dog Gones stealth move to third. It's a freaking fluke. I'm never this high in the standings after the February.
I'll check for loose lugnuts just in case. ;-)
To: I want to know
Thank you, I appreciate your comments.
We had a heck of a severe lightning storm here when I got home from work yesterday, so my choice of tribute was not what I would usually post.

I have no fear that I will remain competitive in this league. I am the Bobby Hillin of NASCAR, a mere flash in the pan, getting my moment of glory before losing my lugnuts and sliding on my roof through the infield.
Trust me on this.
