We went out to Boot Hill this morning to pay our respects to wife's father and my brother in law and put fresh flowers on the graves. My BiL was a WWWII vet. D. Day plus 16 to build the first P47 air strip behind Omaha Beach. My brother was flying his first bombing run in the area about the same time.
The cemetery is a sea of American Flags. The Veterans groups are having a ceremony tomorrow but Bagpipes tip my emotions and bring them to the top and then Taps on top of that is a serious bummer for me...
