I wish they could be brought up on criminal charges. Representing citizens of another country over citizens of this one seems pretty serious to me.
Are we starting with the President?
The word ‘treason’ comes to mind.
“I wish they could be brought up on criminal charges. Representing citizens of another country over citizens of this one seems pretty serious to me.”
What’s the criminal charge? Also, how do you proscecute a failure to uphold your oath of office? Maybe there is a way, I just don’t know what it would be. Maybe it’s some kind of civil charge. A charge relating to some legal concept or principle which has not be used, probably, in centuries.
Whatever the charge turns out to be...however it is positioned, it had better be idiot-proofed against any judge that wants to tamper with it.

I just remembered something I heard on radio very late last night. Sen. Jim Inhofe was on and said they had eliminated his English first amendment recognizing an official language that passed in the last senate bill. He wasnt happy.
