I never pretended or implied that he's the best fiscal conservative, there you go lying again. But he beats hell out of Thompson. If the only way you can boost Fred is to lie about Hunter (post 76), what can I say?

Shortcomings - the very worst one of which is Globalism. See where Globalism has brought us under W, and where we could be going under Thompson - down the tube altogether! The drama queen with the big fat cigar, down home take off “Will Rogers” routine is already a great bore. Charm should not replace competence. Nor should his flowery words create a hiding place for his lack of commitment. Thompson’s close McCain association doesn’t raise any red flags? Those stars in your eyes are absolutely blinding.
