rmlew—I would prefer it if Islamism did not exist and if Muslims did not believe in conquering the world. I would prefer it if communist China were not trying to become an evil hegemon.
However, I live in the real world.

>I think we’re reasonable to demand an end to proliferation.<

This is one thing that I have never quite understood. Where do we get the right to demand no proliferation from another sovereign nation? We can have nukes but we don’t want anyone else to have them. My attitude towards this is; If our enemy launches a single nuke at us then we should launch five at them. This should be our openly stated and fully observed public policy. Break my skin and I will burn all of yours.

IMO, ideas such as appeasement are politically correct and they are suicidal. Why on earth we allow Muslims who wish to destroy our nation into our country is beyond my comprehension. That is like having a lion for a house cat. Keep it fed and it won’t eat you. Sorry, that’s not my style. If I have to share my house with it, I would rather kill the lion and eat it. So let’s keep the lions over in Africa where they can live without causing any damage to us.

If we elect someone to represent us and they do a poor job why wait until the next election to rid ourselves of them? That is like having an employee who is stealing from you and you keep him on for another three weeks, until the end of the month. Why so he cam steal more?

>My challenge for you: are we ready to face the facts?<

No, we are NOT ready to face the facts. I too live in the real world and I am ashamed at our sense of patriotism. We expect our troops to give their lives to bring democracy to Iraq but we won’t unite and save democracy in our own country. I am disgusted.

Republicans can stuff their compassion where the sun don't shine. Do you think the illegals are going to show us any? Don't count on it. They believe this is their country and the way we're going it soon will be.

We are too worried about what the someone else will say about us recalling this treasonous president and three quarters of the treasonous Senate. Or are we worried that a civil war might start if we cause a major political upheaval and some of us might have to give our lives to save America.

If you believe in something be willing to fight for it or else you don’t deserve to have it. That starts with individual rights, something that is guaranteed in the Constitution.

The elected representatives want to destroy America as we know it and nobody is demanding their resignation! I can't believe it.

We are losing our freedoms but we aren’t willing to stand up, take a day off work and march the streets in public protest.

If we are going to be a nation of cowards then we deserve to lose everything.

Wait a minute, B4. What has all that talk about multiculturalism and globalism meant to you? Did you think it was all for pulling back America's influence? Not a chance! With the rate of knowledge expanding in the world today, there is no way we can ignore the technological developments of our enemies and retreat into "playing nice."

I'll tell you what the opposite of globalism means to me. It means understanding that we are so much more advanced than the rest of the world that we have an obligation to protect our advantage. It means that western civilization is the most important civilization on the planet. It tells me that Americans and their fellow allies in France, Denmark, Poland, and the British Commonwealth are the caretakers of the modern world, having defeated the Tripartite Germans, Italians, and Japanese during WWII, and also having brought down the Soviet Union at the end of the Cold War.

I have no interest in permitting tinhorn dictators from threatening America or its interests of any kind. I am not an isolationist by any means. If there's a threat to my people, I say erradicate it. End of story.

I'm the opposite of an isolationist in every way. The difference between me and a globalist is that I love the American people much more than others on the planet. It's really that simple for me. I could never consider isolating America and ending the advance of liberty that has happened since WWII. But we owe those who died in WWII a strong stewardship for the peace and prosperity that they bought for us with their blood. It shall never have been given for naught.

If we are going to be a nation of cowards then we deserve to lose everything.

The cowards were the ones who signed the Immigration Act of 1965. The cowards were the ones who legalized abortion. The cowards were the ones who traded with China in order to open up new investment opportunities when the old ones seemed to be drying up. The cowards were the ones who failed to invest in their own American people. Cowards send our troops to Iraq to fight without the will to crush our enemies.

We live in the world they created. I think you should consider the casualty rates in Iraq and understand that Americans are not cowards. Misguided, yes. Misguided by cowards? Yes, in come cases. But the American people themselves are not cowards, The operative noun here is guidance. You need to harness that intelligence and experience of yours for improving the guidance of your fellow Americans first, before you think about anything else.

Cacique will tell you why he's not a coward. He's not afraid to stand up to the weak ones in Washington. He may have understood that their weakness is profound. Perhaps they can be brought down like a house of cards. They're not afraid of force. They're afraid of information. Information exists to rip their world to shreds. Find it. Let it loose. Share it with others, especially here. Information is what drove the Minutemen in 1775. Information will drive us in 2008. Find us information! The rest will follow. Cacqique has done more to inspire me than anyone else has in the last decade, by the way. He reminds me of the Americans who understood that giving their lives on Okinawa was the right thing at that particular time. Cacique thinks FAXes and letters are the right thing right now. But we need more information for those communications. You can get it, B4. Go do it.
