Fred Barnes is the perfect image of an out-of-touch, country club republican. He hasn't a clue.
I'll bet if the camera were to pan downward you'd see a pair of plaid slacks and Clarks Wallabees.

Fred Barnes: all Clark Kent, no Superman.
You know it's gotten bad when Morton Kondracke is conservative by comparison and even Mara Liarson seems rational (albeit liberal).

Fred Barnes is the perfect image of an out-of-touch, country club republican. He hasn't a clue. I was watching Brit Hume's show yesterday (Monday). Fred Barnes really looked shaken when he was talking about the immigration bill. After praising the bill on Friday, he must have gotten B*tch Slapped by reality over the weekend.
While still defending the bill, Fred was acting like a drowning man. I loved it!
