Republican party members are upset with the immigration reform plan negotiated by Senator Jon Kyl and supported by Senator John McCain.
Party Chairman Randy Pullen says the bill is clearly a plan for amnesty. "My reading of the bill indicates it's still 90 percent what Ted Kennedy wants and maybe 10 percent what Republicans want."
He's disappointed that the plan would allow all 12 million illegal immigrants to remain, whether they've been here a month or 10 years. "It clearly provides to all those that are here they ability to stay in this country permanently, but not only that but bring in their wives and immediate family. That's clearly amnesty."
He says the Republican party has received hundreds of calls and e-mails questioning the judgement of Senators Kyl and McCain for their support of the measure. "I've had people walking in the door, ripping up their Republican registration cards and throwing them on the floor."
"Donors instead of sending in donations are sending in letters stating I've been a Republican all my life, essentially since, 1952 and no more. I'm finished."
Pullen takes issue with senator kyl's assertion it's better to have republican input than let democrats write the entire bill.
I take issue with it too. Talk about falling down the rabbit hole!

Upset? They should be outraged and frothing at the mouths. Upset? The GOP is useless. They had better kill this bill, before it kills America.
good, but not quite enough to convince them I think. We should be working with the state GOP to have the legislatures of as many states as possible introduce resolutions condemning the bill. They want a no confidence vote on Gonzales, I say they deserve one too.
JUST SAY NO BILL! I honestly think our Republican leaders have cut the ambilical cord to their constituents. They just don’t seem to care and think we could actually have thoughtful input on this issue.
Ping
Ever wonder why nobody asks them this?
Keep those cards and letters coming, folks.
Thanks... I am very upset with my Senator(s) over this...
Thank-you Senator Sessions, Senator Bunning, Heritage Foundation, etc!
We owe you a debt of gratitude!
