Actually I am serious, this "Save Mexico" card will be played in the immigration debate. It was played late in the NAFTA debate and helped turn the tide, we best get ready for it.
I understand the “Save Mexico” ploy, but Mexico also has a responsibility in that endeavour. America cannot continue being a welfare institution for the world’s failed governments.
Besides, from the numbers of Mexicans who’ve chosen to leave, it would appear they’ve given up on the failed policies also - so why should we “support” it?
Logic tells me this “Save Mexico” stuff is stoooopid. Of course, there is nothing logical about liberals. In all seriousness, you might have a valid point.
