Thanks for the ping.
Does this mean that officially, GWB now considers Duncan Hunter to be someone who doesn’t “want to do what’s right for America”????

President Bush attacked opponents of an immigration deal Tuesday, suggesting they “don’t want to do what’s right for America.”

I say that if this illegal immigration travesty gets blasted through anyway, we dont wait until Nov. 2008 - we hold a national election ASAP.
GW called the Minute Minute vigilantes. He dont know what kind of vigilantes he and his cohorts will create once this thing goes through...there will be no other option left.

When a nation of laws refuses to enforce those laws, what does it tell us, other than the President does not want them enforced? We need a clear sighted and a steady handed man to lead us. We need Duncan Hunter as President, and a new Congress to restore the country back to a nation of laws once again.

last year Congress passed, and the President signed into law, legislation calling for the construction of those 854 miles of border fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border. Despite this legislative mandate by the U.S. Congress, the Department of Homeland Security recently announced its intention to build only 370 miles of fencing along the border, not the 854 miles required by the legislation.
This directive, despite its clarity, appears to have been interpreted as a suggestion. It is not: its the law -- and the border fence must be built.
It is the law that 854 miles of border fencing will be built. DHS intends to build 370 miles. Isnt this administration violating law?

Some say a wall is impossible. The Chinese built a wall hundreds of years ago. We put a man on the moon. I think we can build a wall.

Hunter can win. His strategy does not translate to quick upswings in national polling because he focuses on the hotspots. Remember he won the AZ straw poll, tied for 1st in the SC one.
If the strategy works in picking off a couple of very early primary states, Hunter will suddenly get the media attention he deserves - they will be forced to cover him. That will likely translate into you and me X 100,000 - "Who is that guy? He's great!" - and without the perception he can't win, since he won the early states.
Now would be a great time to send him a few bucks if you can, given the FEC filing deadline is less than a week off. The better that number looks, the better off his campaign in the perception arena.

Chertoff needs to be sacked.
He was primarily responsible for the lack of government reaction to Katrina.
I don’t trust him, he just looks crooked like a Carpet Bagging Know It All.

I’ve also been giving similar amounts monthly. It’s heartening to hear so many committed to doing the right thing and supporting the best man for POTUS.
We’ll see the rewards at the first primaries...
