I'm kinda with MLK, judge not by the color of skin but by the character of the heart, or something like that. I think just about every freeper would agree. But race happens and it is far easily two make group judgments then meet everyone in a particular group and judge them all as individuals. So foolishly some people that are not racist get branded racist because they fell into the trap. Pat being a perfect example.
Personally I don't give a damn about race but culture is kinda important. I think mine (western anglo-saxon) is the best by far. It traces into roots thou the worlds greatest and most successful civilizations in history. Greece, Rome, Britain and now the USA. Convincing me that my language, culture, values are no better than Islams or Mexico's is going to be a hard sell. I have history on my side. You want Mexican culture? Live in Mexico. You want Islam culture? Live in the nation of Islam and all is cool with me. Come here and tell my I have to give up my language, culture, values to suit you and things are going to go down hill fast.

Actually Hispanics trace their roots to Rome just as much as Western Anglo Saxons. If you’re talking about culture, I think you will find that most of them are quite family oriented and Christian. You’ll have a hard time convincing me they should be lumped in with Islam. Who do you honestly feel is asking you to give up your language and culture? Go into the Hispanic enclaves of Northern Virginia and you’ll see window ads for English lessons all over the place.
