STOP THE SENATE SELLOUT!
Team America PAC ^ | 05/21/2007

Posted on 05/21/2007 9:25:10 PM PDT by NapkinUser

After weeks of secretive backdoor meetings, a group of Senators led by Ted Kennedy, John Kyl, John Cornyn, Harry Reid, and John McCain has come up with a bipartisan amnesty. The text has not been officially introduced, but the lawmakers are trying to get the bill passed in a matter of days. Why? Because they don't want to give the American people a chance to see just how bad it is, or get a chance to tell them how outraged we are. This bill would grant amnesty to virtually every single illegal alien in the country, create a temporary worker program which brings 400 thousand workers in a year, and possibly double legal immigration. They are right in calling it a compromise-- it compromises our laws, our culture, our nation, and our security!

We can still stop this bill!. Contact your senator and let them know that you oppose this bill because it is an amnesty. Tell them that any bill that allows illegal aliens to stay in this country legally is an amnesty. Tell them that one million legal immigrants a year is more than enough and we don't need to flood our country with guest workers and green cards. Tell them if they believe in this bill, then they shouldn't be afraid to let it be scrutinized and debated. Also tell them, that if they vote for this bill, they will lose your support. Contact your congressman too. Tell them that--God forbid-- this amnesty passes the Senate that you have their word they will not vote for it in the House.

The people of the USA have lost control of their government...our elected officials are working against the wishes and the will of the people.

It is time for a revolution.

Agreed. I wish Fred and Newt would run together.

Newt is an extremely intelligent man with gobs of great ideas, practical ideas.

Fred is a man who won’t apologize for protecting America and Americans.

If those two men would work together, and put together another Contract With America (one they could achieve), there would be a landslide.

"Time for this:"

I was thinking of something a little more serious.

The people of the USA haven't had control of their government for a hundred years.

Cornyn did vote against invoking cloture today, as did Hutchison (the other Texas Senator). Nevertheless, its hard to understand where the two of them are coming from. I suspect they are caught between the business types who make large donations to their campaigns (and want cheap Mexican labor in return) and the vast majority of Texas Republicans who want immigration laws enforced (but who do not donate enough money to count for much). I wonder how they would have voted today if their votes had made a difference. Still, ya gotta give ‘em credit for today’s vote.

Cornyn voted against the bill coming out of committee.

He and McCaniac got into it over this piece of garbage.

I would never vote for McCaniac but then again he isn’t going anywhere in the Presidential race anyway.

“Cornyn did vote against invoking cloture today...”

I thought the senate voted on something different today.

Why is ANY Republican supporting this. It’s going to translate into millions more DemocRAT votes illegal or otherwise. Deportation and sealing the border means not only greater national security because of a physical barrier but because more elections will be won by conservatives and not treasoncRATS.

What really chaffs my britches about this is the double standard. If I did what these ILLEGAL, GATE-CRASHERS do with impunity, e.g., IDENTITY THEFT, INCOME TAX EVASION, FRAUD, CRIMINAL TRESPASS, and NUMEROUS other crimes, I would find myself behind bars in a Federal or state peniteniary for years!!!!! But ILLEGAL, GATE-CRASHERS will get a pass from our gutless and betraying politicos. They say this bill is not amnesty, BUT WHEN YOU IGNORE THE MANY CRIMES OF THESE GATE-CRASHERS, THAT CONSTITUTES THE FRICKING “A” WORD.

Don’t you know, those mexicans are more important than we are. Hush and go back to paying those taxes!

We are to go to the back of the bus and start pushing for our new masters, mexicans.
