Not one of my Rx's but I'm sure some here take it.

I take it in low dosage, and, coincidentally, I have a Dr appt tomorrow and I will bring it up....

After a five way bypass and changes in his diet, my husband was able to switch from injections to Avandia. He’s napping now so I don’t know what his reaction will be. He has a lot of heart issues and this can only complicate the situation.
thanks for the posting. I love being one step ahead.

This situation reminds me of that surrounding the drug called: “Progenitoravox”. (Eyeballs pop from sockets, etc.)

So, by reducing the effects of diabetes on some individuals, the risk of specific complications is increased for others....
There is no one panacea for everybody. And that is why the practice of medicine is PRACTICE, and it is an art as much as a science.

The FDA is worse than useless.
Why aren't they held accountable for approving these drugs? Class action suit against the manufacturer soon to follow.

The shareholders of GlaxoSmithKline really got the shaft on this one. The authors of the study admit that it’s shaky, and the heart warnings were already disclosed by the company.

Thank God. I’ve been trying to warn against this drug for years. Took it once for a couple of months and had just awful side effects, chest pain, muscle weakness, fatigue, etc.
No one believed me. I stopped on my own and got ok. I even wrote to the FDA about it, but no response.

I have been on it for four years and no heart attacks so far. I’m not really worried about it. In fact, if I keel over and die tomorrow I am comforted in knowing that now my sisters have somebody to sue.
BTW, if the drug was approved by the FDA eight years ago, that means you can place the blame on the < whisper > Clinton Administration < /whisper > but of course none of the news reports will ever mention that.
