Ping.
Our former AG used her position to get her boyfriend out of a ticket.
This is just S.O.P.
Did you read the entire article? I did, and I don’t see that the judge did anything wrong. Unless there are additional facts, I think this is a waster of time.
This hardly warrants removal from the bench of this guy, based on what is in the article. I would hope they impose one of the lesser penalties.
Maybe next year his son should go out for the tennis team.
Not so much sleeze and abuse of power, this is a guy who needs to find better problem solving skills. Getting angry enough to throw your weight around when your son gets in a dispute doesn’t help the child.
Good thing this kid was playing on some tag rush team and not at a real football high school like Brockton High or a lot of high schools in Texas. The kid would have his mouth in his a$$.
He handled it like an idiot lawyer would, not a father. This happened at football practice, for Pete's sake.
A father would tell his son to buck it up, and not show any fear to the older player. A lawyer shows his son the way to solve the smallest problem is to take it to the authorities, and use your influence to force the outcome ("Do you know who I am!").
Republican or not, someone with that attitude does not belong on the supreme court.
EVERY SINGLE JUDGE does this.
This use thier “you honor” status all the time for a little help in life. No speeding tickets for them. Little helps in various groups and affairs. Making sure their kids have a little assist in private school admissions.
New Jersey ranks among the most corrupt states. It is one of several states that I want to avoid.
And yet nothing about changing election laws to allow a candidate switch after the deadline (when the Dems were polling poorly)... even though 3 of the justices did not recuse themselves despite the fact that they had contributed to those campaigns. Interesting priorities.
