I'm only watching Larry King because of Duncan Hunter.

It's becoming apparent that the Illegal immigrants have no intention of abiding by the rules in the new immigration shamenesty bill.

We need to stop this third world invasion.

A transcript would be great.

Somebody told me that somebody on Larry King is blaming us for illegals dying of thirst. I don’t want anyone to die from thirst, but it’s not our fault if others will break the law.

But about that, I heard that Duncan Hunter’s brother passes out water to illegals, and Duncan Hunter supports him. As strong as Hunter is against illegal immigration, and he is the best and most EFFECTIVE, he is a very kind man.

We’re all just a bunch of Yahoos who need to be educated about Comprehensive Immigration Reform. Of course after, not before it passes. I need to be educated as to why these Senators and Congress members are not traitors.

Y’OK most of this would cause a REAL applicant for immigrant to be barred from entering the US....

physical and mental health; An REAL applicant for immigration has to be healthy...

complete criminal history, An REAL applicant for immigration cant have one of these...

including all arrests and dispositions; A REAL appplicant for immigration definitely cant have any arrests etc...

gang membership,renunciation of gang affiliation; Also a no-no (a written “Ive been a bad boy and I wont do that any more is all it takes?)

immigration history; What “immigration history?” This applicant is an ILLEGAL ALIEN Hello?

employment history; There is no record...he was paid under the table..

and claims to United States citizenship; Is this asking “Is he an anchor baby or an anchor baby’s Daddy?”

What a travesty and a miscarriage of justice to the qualified REAL applicants for immigration who have waited for years in THEIR OWN COUNTRIES, to be granted permission to enter ours.

Tell me about it. My wife is applying for citizenship. Got the application in before they doubled the application fee, fortunately.

14th amendment: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. What about citizenship at age 18 with continuous residency from birth?

& graduation from High School or GED + same civics test as required for Naturalization. Then, not a bad idea.

The court has not spoken on the issue since 1896, I think. In other words, it has not been applied to recent immigration law. IMHO, it gives anyone born in the United States, except the children of diplomats, a claim on citizenship, but maybe not an absolute right.
