Three strikes might work here. The first two were the Immigration Reform Act of 1965 and the 1986 Amnesty law. If this crap passes, it will be over, IMHO.

So? I doubt if Ted is ever troubled by the presence of ill-washed foreign minorities in Hyannisport, Aspen, or Cannes.
Several years ago some wag proposed making maps to the homes of the wealthiest Liberal supporters of open borders, with diagrams of each home's interior and security systems, and then dropping them at bus stops and other downtown places frequented by the Unwashed. I wonder if it was ever done. To the best of my knowledge, not one violent criminal has ever been paroled to the neighborhood of a sitting judge or member of the Senate...

The whole concept of "assimilation," involves massive misunderstanding of what actually does or does not take place. The whole subject of race and ethnicity is misunderstood, as a result of the fanatic suppression of study and debate, flowing from the near fanatical pursuit of "One World" thinking over the past two generations.
It may sound overly simplistic, but actually all peoples stand to lose a vital part of their heritage and value structures, if the present madness is not arrested. That the American mainstream seems paralyzed and unwilling to fight the lunacy unfolding, is surely one of the great tragedies of human history.
For my views on some of the issues, see Immigration & The American Future, which also offers links to other articles.

I called the offices of Eliot Engel, Schumer and Hillary. I told Schumer's Peekskill office that this immigration bill is an attack on the middle class. Chuck's book and strategy is for the dems to appeal the the middle class. His NYC office wasn't answering. Only Engel's and Schumer's office asked for my name and address.

The social security ponzi scheme needs X number of new warm bodies at the bottom of the pyramid.
Where will they come from if we don’t keep the flood gates open.
I really think this is the underlying reason for all the “conservative” leaders jumping on the bandwagon.

“Today’s immigrants are not assimilating into our culture.”
The first sentence says it all.
Here in the great sanctuary city of Houston, Texas there are areas that you cannot distinguish whether it is Mexico or the U.S.
Assimilate......whatever. It’s much worse. More like subcultures to mimic their home country.

Many of us understand how government actively thwarts assimilation by pandering to foreign elements. Our government will print official documents in other languages (the standard California driver's license test is available in 32 of them) just so those without enough respect to learn our national common tongue can collect our national treasure and cast votes for those who lavish it upon them. Just finding out Ted Kennedy was anyway involved with the bill should have warned us. Or, tell us something.

Excellent analysis. Should be widely disseminated. Some Senator should read it into the Congressional Record during this so-called “debate” over immigration reform.
