Wow. I haven’t seen this before this morning (sarcasm off).
Just as careless as throwing the Shah under the bus, and giving away the Panama Canal.
Gee, I’d almost think Jimmah was incompetent or something.
Of course it is good that he apologized, but it’s one step forward vs. hundreds of steps back. The Unwritten Rule is a good one — that former Presidents, while living (vs. Ford in his posthumously-released diaries), should not criticize current White House figures or policies — and Carter has flouted that law so very, very many times before this latest interview.
Anyone have contact info for Carter?
his comments were retarded.
as was yer foreign policy, sir.
This is a copy & paste of my submission to Jimmy Carter via the Jimmy Carter Library.
Subject
Mr. Carter’s continued hatred and irresponsible mouth
I am nearly 60 years old and apparently far wiser and adult than the elderly former commander & chief. The most recent outburst by Mr. Carter is yet another example of the pathetic mindlessness of a miserable complete fool who commands no control of his emotions and actions.
In the twilight of his life, Mr. Carter needs to accept the fact that he was an abject failure in every dimension as a president and the worst we’ve ever had. The record and statistics speak for themselves and all the miserable hatred emitted is not going to change that record. Mr. Carter is not a good American, nor a good person. He continues to be a disgrace and pox of this Republic.
As was the case with his presidency, Jimmah lacks the balls to even stand behind his own words.
I hope Carter never dies. He is a poster child for failed yet stubborn liberal philosophies.
But if he does kick the bucket, I hope that Rosalyn defers the big state funeral because this jack*** does not deserve a modicum of the good will he will receive while he laying in the Capitol Rotunda.
No, Jimmah. Not “careless.”
“CLUELESS.”
As usual.
When will someone in Carter’s family realize that he is suffering from mental illness and get him some help?
Treasonous behavior, imho.
In the Carter years, the United States was an international laughingstock. This was not just because of the prevalence of his ghastly kin: the beer-sodden brother Billy, doing deals with Libyan President Muammar Qaddafi, and the grisly matriarch, Miz Lillian. It was not just because of the president’s dire lectures on morality and salvation and his weird encounters with lethal rabbits and UFOs. It was not just because of the risible White House “Bible study” sessions run by Bert Lance and his other open-palmed Elmer Gantry pals from Georgia. It was because, whether in Afghanistan, Iran, or Iraqstill the source of so many of our woesthe Carter administration could not tell a friend from an enemy. His combination of naivete and cynicismfrom open-mouthed shock at Leonid Brezhnev’s occupation of Afghanistan to underhanded support for Saddam in his unsleeping campaign of megalomaniahad terrible consequences that are with us still. It’s hardly an exaggeration to say that every administration since has had to deal with the chaotic legacy of Carter’s mind-boggling cowardice and incompetence.

Careless, in that he shouldn’t have said it where it could be proven that he said it. Obviously he’s sorry for doing it that way...
JIMMY CARTER IS A TERROR LOVING, DICTATOR SUPPORTING A$$.
.
The American People should demand we stop providing Secret Service Protection for this A-HOLE.
Jimmah has been in the peanut field a little to long...
