Chuck Yeager — one of the few real American heros left for us....to really get terminally ill, compare Yeager’s service to this country with that of Bill Clinton.
(did you get it all in the bucket??)

That would be cool. I’ve seen Gen. Yeager on TV documentaries, and he’s a lot of fun.

Chuck Yeager can spin a great yarn, too. All he has to do is start telling stories and then ya just sit back & listen. That in itself will win votes. People wouldn’t even remember the political stuff, they’ll just think they enjoyed the stories so much that they like Hunter.
One further note — Yeager is German for Hunter, at least that’s what Chuck said once at an OshKosh event he spoke at.

I think Rumsfeld probably is a little too Globalist to support DH

Well, despite some misgivings, Hunter covered Rummy’s back like no one else.

More folks will be coming to see Yeager than Hunter. Now if Fred showed up, he could draw crowds on his own. Not really a good sign for a campaign.

Yeager, the first pilot to break the sound barrier and the subject of the book "The Right Stuff," is traveling across the state with the California Congressman this week. Is there a publicly available schedule for Representative Hunter's trip across South Carolina this week?
To: EagleUSA
If Yeager were younger and Clinton opposed him, Clinton would beat him 3-2 or better. The American people don’t like heroes, and many cannot recognize one when they see him.

When he was an IL congressman, Rumsfeld was part of the Charles H. Percy group. He is not that conservative, but he was only in the House for about two years with Percy in the Senate.
