Monday, 1:00 p.m.: Convene and resume consideration of the motion to proceed to S. 1348, the Comprehensive Immigration Legislation.
“Sessions pointed out when he was talking that the only thing tied to the triggers is the legal immigration provisions, nothing else. All the rest of it happens regardless of whether there are border security provisions in place, and whether they work. In other words, NOTHING changes on the enforcement side.”
WOW. Worse than we even think.
There should be a 24 month hold on the Z-visas while the fence is built.
Is it my imagination or he does he look sheepish? Probably thinking about all the irate constituents he’ll be hearing from over the next couple of weeks...
It will be made clear to the bureaucrats that the priority is not to investigate applications, just to approve them. Approve each and every one of them, and quickly.
As if that mattered since the Z-1 visa is granted within 24 hours of application.
They have no intention of building a wall! Let’s face that fact.

Global warming...I’m outta here...
SUBJECT: Office of Detention and Removal (DRO) Strategic Plan 2003-2012: Endgame
I am proud to release, Endgame, DRO's 2003-2012 Strategic Plan. In September 2001, I chartered the Strategic Plan Working Group, made up of your peers in the field, at headquarters and in other immigration enforcement programs to develop a mission statement, DRO goals and performance measures to guide our operations for the next ten years. I am extremely pleased with their efforts and the result is Endgame.
As the title implies, DRO provides the endgame to immigration enforcement and that is the removal of all removable aliens. This is also the essence of our mission statement and the "golden measure" of our success. We must endeavor to maintain the integrity of the immigration process and protect our homeland by ensuring that every alien who is ordered removed, and can be, departs the United States as quickly as possible and as effectively as practicable. We must strive for 100% removal rate.
Well, if this amnesty bill passes, that "100% removal rate" is about to fail miserably.
I cannot believe it. Norm Coleman is riffing on climate change. These so-called statesmen are disgusting!!!
No need to buy it. This is the biggest piece of garbage ever brought to the floor. They know it and Kyl says it has to be done.
Horrible. The law is not enforced. The law will not be enforced. The only thing that will be completed is the socialist agenda to add tens of millions of illiterates to the voting rolls to give them the final stake in the heart of America they need.
They have grown weary of the voting wars. This is their Hail Mary to bury us all.
They have no more intention of enforcing any of the restrictions or penalties in the bill. All they care about is the Z-1 visas now, and granting the vote to Z-1 visa holders in time for the 2008 elections.
Despicable. Utterly despicable.
And now for a word about global warming from the useless Norm Coleman. Stuff it, Norm. We don’t need you trivializing the debate with meaningless drivel about a fictional phenomenon.
He may not have said that, it was hard to hear his real words through his pillowcase hood.
Mark Levin PING on immigration - good points to refute the open borders nonsense.
I thought he literally had a psych slip...time for retirement? LOL!
I don't care how old Sheets is, or how bad he looks, or how big a Dem. He is virulently anti-amnesty, and has singlehandely blocked amnesty bills before (2002).
Bahaha!
Suppertime
UGH!!!!
Now on to Global Warming... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.....
BUT they will be overjoyed when it's signed into law, because they would be stupid to look a gift horse in the mouth. They're as good as legal the day it's signed.

You said,
“You should take a look at Operation Endgame, the DHS Office of Detention and Removal plan from 2003:

Actually, no. Through legislative slight of hand, the number of illegals will magically be reduced to almost none. DHS will deny the existence of most of those who remain, deport a very limited number of poor saps, and claim success.
Can’t meet the objective? Change the measurement.
Only in government.
