It will be made clear to the bureaucrats that the priority is not to investigate applications, just to approve them. Approve each and every one of them, and quickly.
As if that mattered since the Z-1 visa is granted within 24 hours of application.

As the title implies, DRO provides the endgame to immigration enforcement and that is the removal of all removable aliens. We must endeavor to maintain the integrity of the immigration process and protect our homeland by ensuring that every alien who is ordered removed, and can be, departs the United States as quickly as possible and as effectively as practicable. We must strive for 100% removal rate.
Well, if this amnesty bill passes, that "100% removal rate" is about to fail miserably.
I cannot believe it. Norm Coleman is riffing on climate change. These so-called statesmen are disgusting!!!

Horrible. The law is not enforced. The law will not be enforced. The only thing that will be completed is the socialist agenda to add tens of millions of illiterates to the voting rolls to give them the final stake in the heart of America they need.

They have no more intention of enforcing any of the restrictions or penalties in the bill. All they care about is the Z-1 visas now, and granting the vote to Z-1 visa holders in time for the 2008 elections.

Actually, no. Through legislative slight of hand, the number of illegals will magically be reduced to almost none. DHS will deny the existence of most of those who remain, deport a very limited number of poor saps, and claim success.
Can’t meet the objective? Change the measurement.
