All of the sudden, with this bill, we are going to do enforcement yada yada yada.
[They can’t even enforce the exist (old) laws, so they expect us to believe they are going to enforce these (new) laws?]

I have been calling DiFi and Boxer all morning with no answer or a busy signal, methinks they are being swamped or maybe deciding not to take the myriad of calls they are probably getting about this amnesty bill.

Reid admits that, under the current system and with the current number of border agents, they can apprehend only 5% (five-percent) of those coming across the border illegally.
That is an atrocity, and Congress and the Bush Administration are fully responsible.

I’ve been doing that, thanks anyway. Besides that I have sent off about 20 emails to both of them.

This shouldn’t be a cloture vote. I thought this was the vote to be allowed to bring the bill to the floor, because they skipped the committee process.
Cloture is usually used after they have spent time on the bill and done amendments, and they want to stop working on it and get to the vote for it.

Jeff Sessions is on now ....bless his heart, he’s trying!

Per Sen. Sessions, they are presented with basically last year’s bill. That is what they will read and vote on. Then, later, when convenient, Reid and Company will substitute the new bill for the old bill.
The problem is, no one outside those involved in the secret meetings know what the new bill actually contains.
But by the time the new bill contents are available, the bill will have already been passed.

This is confusing....and UNBELIEVABLE.
They are voting on LAST YEAR’S BILL? and then sliding this one right in under it???
I’m baffled.
And unsettled.

THANKS!
Sessions describing what they went through on last year’s bill...as BAD as that was- it at least went through the Judiciary committee and debate.
THIS one...will NOT go through the committee process.
