Call it a war. A war of words, a war of signs. The debate on the war - the one in Iraq - boiled in downtown Durango on Friday.
On the west sidewalk of Main Avenue, high school age war supporters waved American flags and shouted pro-Bush slogans. A portable CD player spun Toby Keiths pro-war anthem, Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue.
Word from the lefty sites is that they are going flooding the superintendent of this school with angry e-mails denouncing these could be future freepers.
While I do not think these guys should have picked the insult they did in ONE sign out of many (perhaps leaving it as dead islamo-facists might have been better) They are young, enthusiastic and still learning the art of dealing with the media.
Methinks the lefties will not discourage calling the right nazis, and dispareging Bush in all manner of horrendous language.
The superintendent is :
Email Greg Spradling, Principal of Durango High School at: gspradling@durango.k12.co.us
What say you Freepers...should he hear from the rest of us too????
Why the need for us to contact the superintendent? These protests weren’t on school grounds or during school hours, and reading the article I didn’t see any reference to the superintendent.
Because they are being flooded by the left...
Wow...it doesn’t get any more Leftie Loonie than this site!
After reading the comments on this page, I am doubtful that an e-mail can do much, but I will send one off anyway. It would be better for the kids if some of the CO FReepers showed them what to do, is that possible?
Congratulations to the kids, they are going to gain strength by standing up and fighting back!
pfft......
I’ve seen worse signs on the peacenik and moonbat sides.
No kidding....and after attending GOE I and watching how the MSM picks and chooses the signs and images they want to bloster their opinions, it is galling
only to “right” gets bashed whatever they do.
A lot of it by proxy cause they (right) support Bush and the others (left) hate Bush and all who support them.
