I like the peg layout on the inside of the door. My wife wants me to get a separate safe or storage box for the ammo. We're running out of room for new goodies. It's only a 50 cu ft safe. I've been evicting cases to make more space. The longer revolvers with 10" and 15" barrels are especially challenging. The T/C G2 and Encore barrels are likewise a challenge.
Yea, the Contender would pose a problem.
I don't have room for ammo either. In the general scheme of things, the iron is the much larger issue. So I keep ammo in a couple of footlockers in the garage with the obvious exception of the loaded HD weapons and their associated loaded mags.
