So, what is your problem with my post then?
I didn’t see socialism in toomuchcoffee’s post about having the government play a role in inspecting and labeling food. My point was that just as police, the military, and fire depts. are legitimate functions of govt., so too is lawfully setting basic hygiene and safety standards, and the ability to enforce these.
We’ren’t you calling such things socialism, agreeing w/tompaine? Apologies if I misunderstood.
