McCain to Cornyn: "F--- YOU!

McCain to Cornyn: "F--- YOU! I know MORE about this (amnesty) than anyone else in the room!"

This salty exchange followed a mere attempt by a good and decent man Texas Senator John Cornyn - who himself has to wrestle with illegal immigration in his home state as well - attempted to ascertain some clarity on the number of appeals illegals would have in the new bill.

During a meeting Thursday on immigration legislation, McCain and Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) got into a shouting match when Cornyn started voicing concerns about the number of judicial appeals that illegal immigrants could receive, according to multiple sources -- both Democrats and Republicans -- who heard firsthand accounts of the exchange from lawmakers who were in the room.

At a bipartisan gathering in an ornate meeting room just off the Senate floor, McCain complained that Cornyn was raising petty objections to a compromise plan being worked out between Senate Republicans and Democrats and the White House. He used a curse word associated with chickens and accused Cornyn of raising the issue just to torpedo a deal.

Things got really heated when Cornyn accused McCain of being too busy campaigning for president to take part in the negotiations, which have gone on for months behind closed doors. "Wait a second here," Cornyn said to McCain. "I've been sitting in here for all of these negotiations and you just parachute in here on the last day. You're out of line."

McCain, a former Navy pilot, then used language more accustomed to sailors (not to mention the current vice president, who made news a few years back after a verbal encounter with Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont).

"[Expletive] you! I know more about this than anyone else in the room," shouted McCain at Cornyn.

McCain is an ill-tempered, arrogant, obnoxious windbag... and one not fitting to be President!

Did McCain pull this amnesty crap because he thought it would get his former MSM buddies back on the Straight Talk Express? He must know this will sink any shot he had in the primary.

correct me if i am mistaken, but it seems that to mccain the vanity of being a rock star in the d.c. social circle is more important than the republican presidential nomination.

That McCain sure has a short fuse, way too short for me.

Could be useful. Reminds me of a story about Nixon. Nixon wanted to slip word to the North Vietnamese that had a very short fuse, so for god sakes dont provoke him, he's got his finger on the button. Nixon called it "The Madman Theory".

Not sure if McCain is a greater embarrassment to the nation and world because he is a senator or a republican.

Or maybe both.

Definitely both.

There is one hang up, the new welfare state doesn’t have the money, so taxes will have to sky rocket to cover the $2.5 Trillion shortfall.

Then there is this little thing about the coming caliphate. Making all the illegal Muslims citizens instead of deporting them doesn’t sound smart.

He already knew he had no chance, so the "immigration reform bill" (aka the "democrat registration bill") is his way of getting back at America -- especially the Republicans.

If I may quote Hugh Hewitt “John McCain, A great American, bad Senator, terrible republican.”

McCain’s short fuse is is directed at what happens when he doesn’t get his way. Little chance of McCain having the balls to actually do anything, especially militarily.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see McCain switch parties after AMNESTY passes.

“John Cornyn is a decent and honorable man. He’d make a great VEEP candidate.”

I agree!

I hadn't thought of that. You're probably right. He is vindictive. I went through flight school at McCain field, and he was notorious. He's still trying to BRAC the field to get back at Meridian.

Hey McVain!!! F--- YOU! You've used up all your goodwill long ago in my book. Retire from the Senate and go back to Arizona ...... in time you'll find all those marbles you've been missing these last several years.

“McCain to Cornyn: “F-— YOU! I know MORE about this (amnesty) than anyone else in the room!”

This is what happens when a person is a Senator for FAR too long. McCain is too damned full of himself. He’s a condescending hothead that shouldn’t be anywhere near the red button.

I’m concerned that so many of us are willing to accept such an unstable person as McCain as our President, and are actually supporting him.
