The crowd booed South Carolina U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, a key ally of McCain in both his 2000 and 2008 presidential bids, when he said he had worked with U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., on the immigration legislation.
"It's the best bill I think we can get to President Bush," Graham said as some in the crowd shouted "No!"

There needs to be a serious primary challenge to Graham, and the potential for an upset is very real.

After the speech, Graham said he was booed on immigration because "it's an emotional topic. People are mad." He must think we are a bunch of idiots!
He is going to find out just how mad we are!

They booed Chambliss at an event, too. The anger of the base is considerable.

There needs to be a serious primary challenge to Graham, and the potential for an upset is very real. Who would vote for him now? Business owners who hire illegals? That can't be a large demographic.

The man’s an elitist moron. This became pretty clear when he decided that we had to kiss the ass of every terrorist captured, no matter what he’d done or what we thought he knew about future terrorist events.
It’s time for him to go.

When is this clown up for re-election and when will South Carolinians punish him for being McCain’s water-boy (the way we did to DeWine in Ohio)?

McCain, Graham, Kyl and all the Republicans who worked on this
are just not in touch with the voters. If they think this will blow over by election time, they are in for a rude awakening. This is the most anger I can remember in my entire lifetime.

Incumbency is still very powerful, especially in a primary. But the conservative base in SC has to rally around one candidate, preferably one who already has name I.D.

Bombard the Democrats as well, especially the ones that ran on an anti immigration plank and the ones in marginal districts who could be vulnerable. keep pounding on them.

People like Graham is a classic example of what’s wrong with the GOP today. Effeminate, clueless morons who has all the leadership of a caboose.
