I think I speak for most Americans when I say that we’re really tired of hearing about angry Mexicans.
There is plenty of anger north of the border from U.S. citizens who are fed up with being invaded, so enough already about Mexican anger.
We’re angry at our elected politicians who do little or nothing about the problem. We’re angry about drunk drivers, murderers, rapists, child molesters, gang-bangers and so on that are streaming across the border. We’re angry about voter fraud involving illegals (and the home-grown variety, too). We’re angry about overcrowded housing and cars parked everywhere. We’re angry about littering and trash.
If things don’t change for the better soon, you’ll see what real anger is all about.
I don’t think most posters here are reading the article. This is about people who come here legally on temporary visas complaining that the people who come illegaly will get preferential treatment. The people in this article are on our side, folks. Nothing wrong with people who come here legally to work. They’re welcome.
Since the Democrats want dependent citizens and the slavers want illegal workers , plus all the illegal temporary workers , here already, will become legal temporary workers , consequently there isn't much incentive to address additional temporary workers. There will be a demand for additional illegal workers to replace those that will be legalized by this legislation. We don't want to put the "coyotes" out of business.
I love the suggestion of one Freeper who suggested that we bill the Mexican government for $100,000 per each Mexican national illegally in the US. And when they fail to pay which, of course, they will, levy on their oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico until such time as we have recovered that sum. In one blow, we will help defray the welfare costs incurred by the illegals and reduce our dependency on oil produced by terrorist countries.
Aside from the fact that this should piss off all of the dem supporters (evil tobacco); cutting off all unskilled and in particular crop-picking labor would provide a possible entry into a new lucrative area for U.S. entrepeneurs. Machinery that harvests crops like tomatoes and even lettuce have been around for a long time, but nobody bothered because of the cheap labor. The technology is there to cleanly and efficiently harvest crops mechanically. This opens up a completely new area of engineering and marketing to someone in this country with the drive to do it.
Oh, wait! I forgot that American companies have been purposely draining (read firing) our intellectual resources in favor of cheaper engineers in India and China for fun and profits so I guess that this really benefits India and China and I suppose the executives of those "american" companies.
