Meeting the immigration challenges of the 21st century
We are nation of immigrants. The hard work and contributions of millions of legal immigrants are an important part of our America’s history. Our immigration policy, however, must first and foremost ensure the security of our great nation and its citizens. Especially during these treacherous times, our focus must be on preventing those who would harm us from entering our country and in providing the resources our border agents need in order to accomplish this. I oppose amnesty for illegal aliens. I support a plan that matches workers with needy employers without providing a path to citizenship. Immigration to this country must always be done through legal means.
Great! Martinez is a lying POS!
Martinez is not only what you so indelicately (and beautifully) called him, but a panderer and a racist as well as a liar.
I think your appellation for him was actually too charitable.
Leni
Exactly.
Here ya go folks. He took this page off his site but this is the link for the web archive of his site during the 2004 campaign. We Florida members should all email Senator Martinez regarding this broken campaign promise and give him the link.
I have been doing that for over a year now. They don’t say anything. I have even called the State party and have not gotten a response. The woman with whom I spoke at the State level was outraged but I never got anything back from the state when I sent them the link.
Face it, he is a politician - not a statesman. He might have lied to us while on the campaign trail. He might have decided that he did not have to honor his promises after he was elected. Either way, he is not a man to be trusted.
Anyone want to run for Senate? We need to start searching now. I don’t know of anyone.
