Thanks for the note. I will immediately begin boycotting lettuce.
All Freepers should do that ~ quit eating the drug that feeds the Mexican slave markets with willing bodies.
BTW, there are mechanical substitutes around to harvest tomatoes. You don't have to boycott tomatoes.

Always pathetic when apologists (ie. supposed republicans) “warn” us that the high cost of farm labor will have emergent consequences in specific food products.
It is a very babyish individual who is scared to live in a world without lettuce. They really need to shut the hell up.

How about standing in front of the White House with his pants down around his ankles exposing himself to passing tourists?
Not much left other than that.
The guy's a regular wanker for buying into the amnesty BS.
BTW, folks coming here as Legal Immigrants have to find a sponsor who guarantees their financial responsibilities. Typically the sponsor is an American citizen.
This program for illegals dispenses with the question of financial responsibilities.
The deal is it actually creates privileges in the law that exalt Mexicans ABOVE American citizens!
It violates the Equal Protection of the Law clause in the Constitution.

You will have to boycott and vegatables grown in California and not buy any houses (new). They are taking more than berry picking jobs....look at the construction sites.

What you are seeing is the expansion of the elite oligarchic mentality that predominates in South America. The biggest opponents to progress and modernization have been the oligarchic aristocracies who did not want to lose the ability to exploit the campesinos and cheap labor for their factories. They seem hellbent on turning this country into a mirror of those backward third world hellholes. Lettuce will NOT be cheap, quite the contrary it will now cost you even more.
STOP AMNESTY NOW!! WE CAN DO IT!!

I do grow my own. The field workers don’t exactly have the same ideas about hygiene that I have.

You'll find out soon. The North American Union is next and then replacing the Federal Reserve Note with the Amero. Enjoy! I saw all this coming when Clinton left office and my dad was saying Vote for Bush! We can't have Kerry!

Easy enough to boycott vegetables grown in California. It’s time for a nationwide re-development of the table vegetable industry anyway.

I think all of you are missing the obvious humor and entertainment value provided by the expectation that the enforcement provisions of the new bill will be taken seriously.
