Sorry to be so late getting back here, but saying “hi” yesterday was all I had time for until now.
Am so thankful for Tony Blair’s support. I know he’s not so good in other areas, but at least he has been a stalwart ally in the face of terrible consequences for him in your country.
And thank you for the work you put into this thread. I lurk more than post now, so just know your great contribution is much appreciated, as always.
I want to let you know that this will be my last post on Free Republic (other than responses to this post on this thread).
I made the mistake of reading through a horrific immigration thread, and was about to make the decision to leave for good, but then I posted the Pray for President Bush thread, and was bombarded by anti-Bush posts on that precious thread.
This place is being ruled by a mob, and I cannot, in good conscience, continue to post here. It is not the same place that I joined six years ago. It is not a conservative website. Conservatives think, and process information. They place emotion beneath thought, and always place their love of country ahead of their own personal, ego-driven desires.
As you all know, I am a conservative from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. I am conservative across the board and down to the depths of my soul.
But I do not belong on this forum. This is no longer a place where thoughtful, pro-life patriots fit in.
I will miss you all, but if you freepmail me (before I am presumably banned), I will let you know how you can reach me.
DrDeb, I tried to hang on for the President, and for you, but the conflict of my ethics relative to the lawlessness of the 'new' FR, have made it impossible.
My best to you all. I LOVE President Bush. We will not see his like again..........and this forum may have a part in making sure no one of his character is ever elected again....
