Serbs are unlikely American enemies. On the same day when USA pilot hit crowded civilian bus, killed 34 Serbs and NATO said "ups, sorry"! http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/europe/9905/02/captured.soldiers.01/ No wonder Serbs have saying:”God please save me from my friends, I’ll save myself from my enemies”.

By the way, Moler, there is a book coming out at the end of August, called "The Forgotten 500: The Untold Story of the Men Who Risked All For the Greatest Rescue Mission of World War II" by Gregory A, Freeman about the rescue of those 500 American airmen by Serbs during WWII. Will be intereting to see whether or not people actually read it.
