Of course, this "report" conveniently leaves out the fact that the "racist" article in Dr. Paul's newsletter was written by a staffer and not the good doctor himself. Or that Ron Paul immediately apologized for the oversight.
As for his comments about the Israel lobby, I don't think that Dr. Paul said anything that isn't true. There's a reason that Israel is the greatest recipient of unconstitutional foreign aid from the United States, and it has a lot to do with special interests in Washington.

The smear machine has stepped into overdrive, the special interest groups who feel threatened by his proposals will now attempt to write him off before his ideas get any further exposure. I never expected him to win, but I hope he stays in the race so that his limited government positions get a hearing, he's one of the few Republicans who even bother talking about limited government anymore.
