Of course, this "report" conveniently leaves out the fact that the "racist" article in Dr. Paul's newsletter was written by a staffer and not the good doctor himself. Or that Ron Paul immediately apologized for the oversight. The smear machine has stepped into overdrive, the special interest groups who feel threatened by his proposals will now attempt to write him off before his ideas get any further exposure. I never expected him to win, but I hope he stays in the race so that his limited government positions get a hearing, he's one of the few Republicans who even bother talking about limited government anymore.
I agree with your post #9. And I think it will probably keep getting worse. He is a threat to the establishment whether they have a (D) or (R) by their name, and if he gets more popular, I expect the attacks to get more vicious and ugly.
In fact, to be honest, I have a bit of fear for his safety.
