Hillary even charged that the Republicans ran the House like a plantation when they were in charge.

Chaos in the House

Republicans have thrown the House floor into chaos by calling for repeated procedural votes to protest the Democrats’ attempt to limit their ability to offer motions to recommit bills back to committee.

The change to House rules would limit the ability of the minority to offer motions to recommit, rolling back a protection that has been in place since 1822.

Republicans are protesting that move by calling for repeated procedural votes on the House floor.
