I hate academia. There is no accountability for professors, therefore they tenure people with little intellectual talent.

Our commie-infested universities need a thorough housecleaning.

Does this mean students are now free to plagiarise and copy off each other’s tests?
I guess keeping Ward Churchill around speaks volumes about how Academic Dishonesty is viewed at that farce of a university.
The Dept of Education should revoke its accreditation.

I knew they would wimp out. I hope Hank Brown can bring himself to do the right thing.

So a committee of his fellow "professors" only think he should be suspended for a year, rather than fired? For multiple instances of plagiarism and lying about academics, Indian artwork, and Indian heritage? This says a lot more about the abysmal quality of the rest of the faculty, than it does about Ward (I cheat everybody) Churchill.

The old “Hurry up and forget” ploy that works so well in the academic world. BTW, will Big Chief FullOShiite still be getting his paycheck? Maybe we should pass the hat!

No, firing sounds like the more fitting punishment of the two.

The Dept. of Education does not determine accreditation. The North Central Association does:
http://www.ncahigherlearningcommission.org/ I do not know if they would be much help, but, academic dishonesty by a tenured "professor" is pretty serious.

The NCA revoked the accreditation of one of the schools at University of Iowa while I was there. Its rare but it can happen.
