I would ask Duncan Hunter, if I could:
I feel that you have been the most effective candidate in actually accomplishing the tightening of our borders by having a 14-mile fence built, which greatly lessoned crime in San Diego. As president what will you do to further secure our borders?

Huckabee refers to the troops as ‘kids’.
[GGGGRRRRRRR! That irks me. They are not kids, not when they are in battle with guns, facing real enemies. They are men and women!!!!!]

Romney needs to talk less with his hands. They are distracting.

McCain: Spending is out of control.
[I bet McCain never missed a trip to the trough to get his share of the pork.]

Three things I’ve seen so far:
1. I’m quickly losing respect for some of the weaker candidates. Until I heard them today, they had seemed pretty decent.
2. I’m liking Romney, McCain, and Guiliani more.
3. I loved that one joke referring to government spending (and McCain’s joke about worse than a drunken sailor) as Edwards’s beauty bill.

I like this Ron Paul guy. The only paper I wrote that semester I went to college was on how much money it costs us to police the world.
