Otherwise known as tailgaters, speeders, and wreckless lane changers.
There would be less lane changing and tailgating if fewer people drove slower than the flow of traffic in the left lane. When people come up behind you, move over (if you feel you must drive in the left lane in the first place). If you don’t move over, then people have to swerve around you.
Slow pokes in the left lane are the cause of the conditions you state.
That's a total misconception.
My husband has no problem going a little faster. He was in the HOV lane driving 5 or so over the limit. There was room for anyone to pass. But, some idiot decided to tailgate, then had to honk his horn and flip us off as he went around.
I know a lot of those on this thread would hate me. I finally have my permit, so drive the speed limit. On the bright side, I tend to stay to the right as much as possible, because I like a way out in case anything goes wrong.
