My new Windows Media Player is trash. I can’t even find the file button, OR a help button, and there doesn’t seem to be an
“Open URL” choice. No wonder hubby makes me use WinAmp.

Somewhere on the window you should have a button that says either skins or full mode.
Just click around the border frame, or put the cursor in the middle and right click.
You want full mode.
Its in there! Trust me!

VLC player works great! It's free. Ditto the
Media Player Classic I don't know a lot about players, but both of them seem able to open pretty much any video file thrown their way! :-)
