I swear I could go on and on about Iraq. The sad bottomline is that most Americans are misinformed about Iraq because of the biased coverage of the media. I guess everyone on Free Republic knows that. But everyone else needs to be told the real consequences of a troop withdrawal short of real security in Iraq. Americans are good people and I don’t believe anyone wants to see a million Iraqis die from a REAL civil war. The whole Democratic position is really frightening. They seem pretty stupid, but they are smart enough to know (or have been briefed) that their course of action will result in a real genocide as well as increased danger for troops in Iraq. Yet they pursue it anyway. For what? To make Bush look bad? Pelosi, Reid, and the like have blood on their hands now and are courting votes for more. History will show them to be shallow, defeatist, and uncaring politicians.

Don’t fall for this, people. CNN runs a report and says “Hey, we’re reporting the positive.”

Well, what are they basing it on?

IN 2 months they’ll be back proclaiming that Anbar is collapsing and Al-Queda is running amok there. And very little will have actually changed.

You know, when you start a new thread and fill it with a story, or information, of your own authorship, that's called starting a "vanity".

Lot's of us do vanities from time to time. Just put the word "(vanity)" at the end of your title when you post it.

I think it would be great for you to write a vanity about Iraq. Just title it something like "First Hand Report On Iraq (vanity)".

Ramble to your heart's content. Hundreds of us would love to read your words. Make it three or four pages long if you want to.
