I would agree Brown will not value the special relationship as high as Blair.

As most of you know I did not care for Blair and Brown IMHO is worse.

Whilst I may not agree 100 per with Cameron I consider he would value the alliance between the 2 countries higher than Brown will.

Brown is forced to support the US on Afganistan and Iraq until our mission is considered complete but I do not expect much new support in any other areas.

I don’t know if I can adjust to the shock. For the 1st time in about 2 Centuries we will have a Govt in Britain moving AWAY from it’s relationship with the USA while a Govt in France will be moving TOWARDS closer ties with the USA!
