Okay,

How about this: Just Say “NO” to Surrender.

What flavor of Kool-Aid are they serving in the Church of Ron Paul today?

Awwww, how sweet. No argument so we revert to nonsensical one liners that have nothing to do with the issue.

If one wants to get a better perspective of events in this war, one can do so by using only a little ingenuity. Go to the MNFI sites, the military bloggers' sites, the Iraqi bloggers' sites and you will see a different story than that represented by CNN, et a

The Iraqis I'm a little suprised with. Unlike the military bloggers' sites, the Iraqis should know their own history and its attempts at Western forms of government just within the 20th century (which have been attempted before and do not work)

I will not support any politican who advocates cut-and-run policies or a timetable (nothing so brilliant as giving the enemy a timetable, is there?) The detractors can couch this "end the war" crap in all of the pretty little terms they want.

So I take it you won't be voting in the upcoming election then will you? Come October, you're going to see quite a few Republicans currently in office calling for a timeline. Why? They're running for office and you aren't. Those 10-12 that bothered visiting the White House are just the first.

Nah....I've just become weary of trying to talk sense into the Cut-and-Run Surrender Monkeys. You guys watch the news and all...so you know so much more.

You mentioned the election (and made an assumption). I have news for you:

Ron Paul won't even be a blip on the screen. You may as well start licking your wounds now.

Oh good namecalling. See how fun this is. Every point is not addressed by a counterpoint but a name, slur, etc. Wheeeee.....

You guys watch the news and all...so you know so much more.

No actually I read. History. Try it sometime. Course you may not be as cheerful about the situation in Iraq if you do.....here's a shocker for you. The world does exist outside of Fox News.

Hmmmm, not sure I stated anything about a particular candidate. No actually I didn't....what I stated was that at least one of the 'major' Presidential candidates (one of the establishment hacks chosen by the media), not to mention a growing number of Republicans in Congress, will turn against the police action to garner votes from an ever increasing majority against it.

Ron Paul, who DOES think he has a better idea.
****************************************************************************************
Ron Paul’s idea is to wave the white flag of surrender.

He is my Governor also but lately (before this remark) I have not been so proud of him. It seems he is starting to slip back to his democrat days. (ie vetoing the property tax rebate.)

ROFL!! That's where you think I get my information on Iraq? Many thanks for the hearty laugh.

Lord help me, I do love to watch people make pompous, arrogant remarks (assumptions) like yours when they are so very ill-informed.

You wonder why I keep coming back with quips? Because I rarely take those who ASSume so readily very seriously. You might ask, rather than continue making assumptions. I get my information on Iraq right out on my front doorstep and beyond, my dear. The sights and sounds are all around me. And that's just when I'm off work. At work, the daily interactions begin and continue throughout the day. With the military, with ordinary Iraqis, with Iraqi government officials...no relying on Fox News for me here, darlin.' They get it wrong half the time, anyway.

{still laughing...} You're right. This IS fun!

{He reads history. HOWL! GUFFAW...}

No I remember your time in Iraq. In fact you never seem to shut up about it. It’s like reading a Fox News blurb. You see we’ve had this conversation before (I remember the last one being filled with inane one liners from your end then as well). And I still laugh because you believe that having currently ‘feet on the ground’ somehow overrides over 1000 years of history.

In fact I’m sure past citizens of several Western powers while in the region espoused the same thing you are currently when they tried to civilize the Middle East. I even applaud you for maintaining the State’s view (even though it is flawed). You do remember those attempts don’t you? Oh sorry, I forget Republican history books don’t go back further than 1918 (well unless Victor Hansen writes one of his blurbs about something that has nothing to do with the Middle East but tries comparing it nonetheless...)

No I remember your time in Iraq.

My time in Iraq has not ended. And you're the only one who thinks my remarks sound like a "Fox News blurb." Nice save attempt, by the way, but somewhat lame.

Again, you assume I do not know the history of this region. And again, you assume incorrectly. Don't you ever get tired of that?

You see we’ve had this conversation before...

You remember me; I don't remember you.

That would be due to the fact that you are far from being the only rude, arrogant cut-and-run surrender advocate on here.

You initiated this conersation with me. Why would you do that, given your memory of whatever conversation we had in the past? Just felt like being a snot to someone today?

Glad to be of service.

G'night!
