Will the opposition take it to court if it wins? They are rarely willing to let the people speak, since they can only win thru judicial fiat....

Isn’t it amazing that whenever the defense of illegal alien invasion is put to a vote, it loses big, like here in Farmers Branch and last year in Herndon, Virginia, and Prop 187 in California before that.
You can see why Kennedy and Reid and McCain and Bush want this amnesty (ooops! sorry - “comprehensive”) reform bill passed quickly and the borders opened to cheap labor for the Chamber of Commerce and labor unions. The sheeple are catching on, and starting to fight back, at the ballot box.

Yes, we CAN see!!
Yep WOOHooo indeed!!
But we live a city over from FB TX and we don’t have an ordinance like it sooo hopefully they won’t migrate to our city.
FB has had major crime, vandalism etc. and we do not want that here.
One of the Campo Minutemen is orginally from Farmer’s Branch.
It is good to see this thing passing, though it is a much watered down version from that passed by the City Council last November. However, the ordinance has a provision for more stringent requirements being enacted after a 6 month assessment period - very smart move by the writers of the ordinance. I was also hoping for a much higher winning percentage - more like in the mid- to upper-seventy percentage. But I'd take a 2-to-1 margin as a clear mandate!
I’m next door to Farmer’s Branch in Coppell. I’m not worried about their illegal problem flowing into my city. What I’m hoping is that my city and other’s around will follow Farmer’s Branch’s lead! If our govt won’t kick the illegals out our cities will and than the illegals will have to go home! Yes, it is a long shot away, but this is a start and I’m proud of Farmer’s Branch!
