I agree that some kids are bad for the environment. Take my newborn son, for instance. I’m tired of changing diapers.

Why don’t these wackos do the planet a favor and commit suicide?

It’s deja vu all over again. It worked once so the leftists are trying it again. If you ever want to know how wildly off their predictions are see below.

For sure, we’ll see them trying to change the laws too, to support their anti-human agenda.

Rescue Mission: Planet Earth : A Children's Edition of Agenda 21 in Association With the United Nations is scary. It's a book for children telling them how terrible adults human beings are for bringing them into the world.

Children bad for the planet? But essential for the future!

“... if couples had two children instead of three they could cut their family’s carbon dioxide output by the equivalent of 620 return flights a year between London and New York.”

Factoids for the innumerate. They’re off by about a factor of 20.

The environmentalists are blissfully ignorant of basic economics.

A child that is allowed to prosper in a free market will produce (on average) far more goods than they will use.

A child in a socialist third world country will (on average) use more than they produce.

It is high technology (most likely to be created in a free economy) that will allow a cleaner environment for all.

To ask Australians or others in the developed world to have less children is the rawest self-destructive stupidity.

The nihilistic hedonist Marxists (the new far-left) hate capitalism, America, western civilization (including Judeo-Christian values), science, and the human race (in that descending order). The overarching theme is one of a vendetta against all forms of success, a universal form of dysgenics that goes far beyond biology. The environment is only one of several convenient rallying points for their sociocultural funk to coalesce around.

The eventual extinction of humanity (or at least the ending of our current way of life in the west) is something they embrace; to them, humanity is a virus, with America being the most virulent form. Any movement perceived to be instrumental to "curing" this "infection" is, in turn, embraced - thus the (at best) tepid support of terrorism, communism, ecofascism, anti-theism (militant atheism), moral degeneracy, subsidization of failure, obstruction of success (excessive taxation, over-regulation), subversion of law (disregard for the Constitution, criminal-as-victim), and multiculturalism (where the assimilation of members of inferior cultures is viewed almost as a crime, while, at the same time, the goal is to erode the dominant culture by way of government fiat via an explicit extension of more 'positive rights' for cultures, activities and behaviors that would otherwise self-correct).

Is it any surprise that population control is also embraced? Sure, they invite it with an environmental pretext (finite resources, increasing resource use per person = "overpopulation") but make no mistake - they push it because they hate our way of life, they hate everything America and the western world stands for. They wish to slow the spread of the "virus". The vast majority don't even realize what they are trying to "progress" towards.

"The greatest thing anyone in Britain could do to help the future of the planet would be to have one less child."

The better alternative is for the hypocrites such as this moron to eliminate their carbon footprint (extinguish himself), thereby saving the rest of us, and stop telling us to sacrifice our children to the Global Warmist religion god: Algore.

Any person who does not know that the climates of all the planets in our solar system are controlled by the sun is an idiot. Why is this supid man-made-climate-warming-crap still being discussed? Anybody know why?

This global warming bandwagon seems to allow really stupid people get their 15 minutes of phony intelligence. Logically it’s BS: cut a tree down, use the timber for a house and let another tree grow sounds like I’m reducing CO2 from the atmosphere. Am I wrong? And how much CO2 is spewed daily from constantly active volcanos like in NZ, Iceland, Hawaii and under the oceans. This is totalitarian clap-trap and will hopefully die a death like the Y2K nonsense.
