You obviously have never read about one of the key problems that go on with the Mormon Church - the secret circle of edlers that DO constrict, force and restrain others once you achieve a postion of authority.

This is going to be fun ^_^ I am an ex Mormon, from a position of authority, now an atheist and you are a liar. Or a delusional idiot? Take your pick.

The kooky parts of Mormon teaching are less worrisome than the stuff they teach to those in secret as they attain higher office within the church. There are many good books on this subject, written by ex Mormons themselves.

Oooh those secretive, sneaky Mormons. Tin foil hat a little loose this morning txzman? If you knew anything at all about Mormons you would know that they are too busy to have a secret cabal.

I will let you in on the dirty little secret about Mormons. They are boring, family, work, and church, in that order, that's it. That's all they have time for. If by some miracle they have any spare time, they eat or sleep. If you want to be bored to death, go to a meeting, or better yet steal a Temple recommend and go to the Temple, then you will face true boredom, the kind of boredom that would drive Buddhist monks insane.

I am not kidding.

>>>If you want to be bored to death, go to a meeting

LOL, that was my experience as a child in Church. My older brother and I out of sheer boredom got into our famous (to us anyway) paperclip fight. I had it and was bending it. I got tired of it and was about to throw it. Then he wanted it and I turned into Gollum with the Ring of Power, "my paperclip". We ended up arguing and wrestling over it in the pews until my Mom intervened. When her stern looks didn't work she turned to the wrath of a Just God and pinched us both hard. Man those nails hurt.

Now I get to bring my kids so they can suffer through it too ;-)

Plenty truth to what you say.

But you don’t seem to be . . . 100% thoroughly informed about your former LDS org and cohorts.

Hello again, LeGrande.

“If you want to be bored to death, go to a meeting, or better yet steal a Temple recommend and go to the Temple, then you will face true boredom, the kind of boredom that would drive Buddhist monks insane.”

I don’t know, I find them to be pretty interesting activities, particularly when I’m in need of spiritual nourishment. Of course, many consider spirituality itself a rather boring pursuit. To each his own, I suppose.

I am not kidding.

You must be kidding. Especially after reading your tag line: Muslims, Jews and Christians all believe in the same God of Abraham.
