institutionalized children

Why must you use this title? They go to school to learn and receive and education. Most of the children turn out fine. Every now and again you find some that are not great whether it be they are fat, criminal, uneducated, etc. The problem is that here at FR we receive a huge amount of negative articles about public schools and hardly any if any good news. Sounds familiar doesn’t it?? The liberals try to do this with the war...all bad news all the time, everyday. Again my kids don’t go to public school, BUT I know many who are thriving at public schools and making a great difference to this world and will continue to.

There are about 57 million school age children. About 10% are not educated in the public schools, leaving about 51.5 million in the pool. There are bound to be some bad apples in the 90% and the 10%, but there will always be more of them in the bigger category, because it has the largest numbers. Plus, in our media, if it bleeds it leads, so a juicy article about how something bad happened at the local public school is much more enticing than one about something good that happened.
