Don't know how many people have seen this movie, but what are your thoughts on something like it happening? If so, who would be involved? Also, how easy or hard would it be to fight them back, taking into consideration their manpower?
There are far subtler things underway, and they have to do with the thoroughly opportunistic temporary partnerships that , say , Lefties have forged with the P.R. spokesmen of Islam, like CAIR, and just about everyone and everything else that can combine for short and longterm power plays, and we can add to that mix the Illegal Alien “movement”, which, at its worst , aims to intimidate us into honoring their totally unearned “entitlement” every bit as much as the Islamic troublemakers have. What all these things have in common is their bluntly partisan nature-—anything and everything will be tried for effect as long as it helps in the project of destroying and discrediting the current Administration and the chances of Republicans to reclaim any portion of political power.
"24" appears to do a good job of portraying who our external enemies are, and their methods. Too bad we don't have anything remotely like CTU or any Jack Bauers. What we do have is a massive and inconceivably indifferent bureauocracy sniffing around in people's shoes at the airports and ignoring a tidal wave of illegals coming north. What we do have is a government and culture racing towards socialism, where everyone is being force-fit into being "equal" when they most certainly are not.
I don't mean to hijack the thread but shamnesty would litterally be the death-nell for the conservative movement. I know that some people have good reasons for supporting it like SS taxes and some hardworkers to "indenture" themselves for awhile, but the votes will tell the story in the end and they will vote with the dems to get more in to suck off uncle sams teat in the end. Then it will be too late.
No doubt.
Red Dawn was made in 1984. Hard to believe that 11 years later he was in this movie:

That is how it happend in the movie. The paratrooper drop was to secure the mountain pass road near the town And it was foreign workers along the border & on bases that

Well, there is NO real dialog that has gone on, or ever WILL go on about the invasion——Bush fiddles while the Border burns, awaiting some far-off “comprehensive Plan”. It is a sick, sad joke, that this lawlessness could EVER have been tolerated, and sicker yet that there seem to be an endless supply of stories centering on Border Agents trying to do their jobs and getting prosecuted by their own Governments for their trouble. Bush, sorry to say, is proving to be the best friend the Open Borders crowd could ever wish for-—watching this day after day is a real stomach-turning experience. Just WHO or WHAT is determining policy??? Let’s stand up , assess the situation, and just make ONE demand -—for example, let’s request, not even demand of Mexico, some specific quantity of oil for every illegal that is here—if we have the nerve to demand that (or REQUEST that our own Government even REQUEST that)we can at least credit ourselves with retaining some small hold on common sense. As it is, it is Mexico that is determining our policy toward Mexico/
But that was before Dem-o-Rats The enemy is in DC not from the outside.
Which is more dangerous to the US?
Osom. with a nuc in NY
ADL, ACLU, Rats,...with an activist judge
Terrorism is not military conquest. Sabotage and infiltration along the border doesn't touch thousands of military aircraft and armored vehicles scattered around the rest of the country. Any sabotage committed as the opening salvo alerts millions to the danger, and nothing moves from there on out without being reported and interdicted.
Do you really have that little faith in the Americanus Redneckus?

I wish I had some thing good to tell you. I'm not inclined to believe it is some thing so simple as a cheap labor sell out. I think it has more to do with the need for an invigoration of new "hungry" underclass that we will need since we have become as a country fat and happy. Our leaders have decided that we need 100 million new poor people to give us a shot in the arm and marry ourselves to central america at the same time. I don't agree with the way they are going about it...hell I don't agree with the concept as it has been presented, mainly because it hasn't been presented as such. The concept could be good under certain circumstances. As it is it looks like a crap sandwitch.
Were both basically saying the same thing.
>>> believe any foreign power could mass that much military power <<<
No way There is no outside force on earth that defeat us. Only we can do that.

Its interesting that Germany looked to the US for its ideas on eugenics.
Excerpt from link:
Though they couldnt possible know it, the children of the Fernald State School were the victims of bad science and a newly developed bureaucracy designed to save America from the so-called menace of the feebleminded. Beginning early in the twentieth century, United States health officials used crude versions of the modern IQ tests to identify supposedly deficient children and lock them away. The idea was to protect society from potential criminals and to prevent so-called undesirables from having children and degrading the American gene pool......
...... It reveals the danger in misguided science, the fearsome power of unchecked bureaucracies,
Pay attention to the first chapters on the history of eugenics. Just replace feebleminded With conservative To see what there real goal is. Need more proof. Read about the battle at Hue.
