Now then — this is TWO female Governors in a row - Louisiana and Kansas that didn’t realize THEY had the primary first responder responsibility to DO SOMETHING before bitching about President Bush’s lack of attention...or the war in Iraq.
NOTICE - that none of the MALE Governors hit by Katrina or other storms have been crying about lack of support from the FEDS.......just these two DEMOCRAT FEMALE GOVERNORS..

My KS friends tell me that Missouri Gov Blount (R ) has behaved very professionally , like a leader- regarding his flooding situation-night and day compared to Sebelius.
Called in MOARNG without whining and crying.
Explained to the media the tactical situation and how the state planned to resolve it.
He did not mention of the War in Iraq or undercut and attempt to demoralize his Guard units.
I don’t believe he has gotten any media attention..hmmmm.
