I emailed Pelosi and my Congress Critter - Steny Hoyer - today. I also called their offices and voiced my objection to the two month supplemental bill. I provided their phone numbers and email addresses below, if anyone wants to do the same. Also, is the text of my email.

Today, you will vote on a supplemental appropriation bill funding United States troops serving in Iraq. The bill you are voting on will only fund the troops two months at a time. As a retired service member of the United States Navy, I strongly object to this bill. Not only can supplies not make it through the supply chain in that amount of time but you also hamstring the commanders on the ground as to what they can and cannot do in a war zone.

Not only will this bill hamstring the troops and limit our operations but it will support the terrorists. Why? Because their spiritual leader, Osama Bin Laden, has stated over and over that the United States does not have the will to fight and will pull their fighting force from the battlefield if enough casualties are inflicted. This bill proves him correct.

I strongly urge you to draft a clean supplemental bill. By clean, I mean no unrelated appropriation issues, no timelines, no benchmarks. You have stated time and time again that you support the troops. Stand by your word and support our troops by passing a clean supplemental bill.

One reason for the two month bill that the Democrats are proposing is because they have stipulations that the Iraqi government must meet during that time. They also know that the Iraqi government is taking a vacation for two months. The Democrats know that nothing will get done during that time.

Ms. Pelosi:

You and the US Congress do not have the Constitutional authority to micro manage the war in Iraq, and because you insist on doing the bidding of George Soros, a billionaire socialist, instead of representing every American, you are now providing aid and comfort to our enemies who are counting on your support to defeat the American Army! That is TREASON!

You do not speak for the American people who demand a win in Iraq, and stop telling us how you support us while we are in harms way, that is a load of crap.

Enough is enough. Fund the God damn war, or cut off the funding! Stop playing politics with my life, and my fellow soldiers lives while we are here in harms way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every day you socialist play games with this war funding bill, you make it clear just how soft you and your party is on terror, and you will own the defeat in Iraq. make no mistake about it!
