I’d say the addition to the court of Alito and Roberts was responsible for the partial birth abortion bill being up held. I’m sure whatever judge in the 2nd. district DC who struck down the DC gun ban was a Republican appointee. The tax cuts that brought this economy out of a recession and the worst and costliest attack on American soil on 9-11 were done by a Republican congress. The tools via patriot act ect... were designed by a Republican congress. With their warts and all Republicans are preferable.

Rudy has expressed admiration for Alito AND Ginsberg. He has also said that a strict constructionist could go either way on overturning Roe.

He is a living breathing insult to conservatism.

I believe the remark about a strict constructionist going either way on overturning Roe is aligned with comments made by Judge Roberts that so many years of precedent could cause some conservative justice to uphold Roe.

And by the way your anti Rudy bots talking points and attacks have gotten just as old.
***I’ve heard that one before as well. The standard rudybot line was to ignore anything of substance and then, a month or so later, declare it to be old. At least the standard line of denying that he’s a gun-grabbing, gay activist, open-borders abortionist has been in essence dropped by the candidate. So does that mean that all those freepers who put in so much effort to deny such things are going to be coming back with apologies or are they going to just moveon.org and continue down the path of destruction with their cult-of-personality candidate?

If you’re pro-abortion, just say so. Don’t try to finesse it.

I don’t care what Republican wins the primary, if he’s even only 1% more conservative than Hillary I’ll still support him!

No it means they are going to support the Republican candidate that they think can keep that abomination of Hildabeast/Hussein Obama out of the White House.

You don’t have a clue what organizations I belong to nor how much time or money I have contributed to pro life causes. I’ve come to the conclusion that our victories are going to come incrementally and are going to be won or lost in the courts and not decree from some president. The Supreme Court gave us a partial victory by upholding partial birth abortion ban which until addition of Alito and Roberts would have been impossible. I do find it amusing that your only answer to a reasoned and pragmatic view is an attack.

So when rudy loses the nomination and declares a third party candidacy, what will these supposed good republicans do? How much support do you think he would have in that instance?

I think if Rudy loses the primary republicans for the most part would support party nominee. Most of us with any sense remember what happened in 92 and will avoid that scenario.

Rudy would never have signed the PBA ban. He supports the procedure. I notice that you don’t make any claim to be pro-life, nor do you make any claim to contributing time or money to pro-life causes. You only state that I don’t have the information. That is slick.

If you support Rudy, you are not pro-life.

So when rudy loses the nomination and declares a third party candidacy,

And you know this from where?

"..Republicans are preferable."

Preferable to democrats, perhaps, but are you suggesting I would vote for democrats?

Actually, I think I did, once. Wasn't George Wallace a democrat?

I’m not asking about most republicans. I’m asking about rudy supporters. How many rudybots would follow rudy down the garden path, how many would return to the reservation?

I know this from the same place that you know that rudy is going to be the nominee. If you want us to answer false dilemma questions then you’d best be prepared to answer uncomfortable dilemma questions in return.

Is that your way of withdrawing your false dilemma question or are you going to answer?

"Most of us with any sense remember what happened in 92 and will avoid that scenario."

Hmm..

I remember the terrorist attack, but I also remember many other things that happened. And I am not likely to forget anytime soon, either.

The RNC is going to have to earn my vote.

Same polling organization that showed Bush winning in New Jersey, and Kean up two points over Menendez in 2006. We all know how those elections turned out.

Its too early, folks are going solely on name recognition. The polls to take seriously are those in the primary season. I can remember most polls telling us that Howard Dean or John Edwards was going to be the Dem nominee, or that Wesley Clarke was beating Bush in key states.

I would be willing to put money on the fact that, WHOEVER wins the GOP nominee WILL NOT win Connecticut or New Jersey. Capice?

I’m pro life and I contribute money as will as time to pro life organizations.

But you support a pro-abortion candidate who can't even bring himself to oppose partial-birth abortion. I guess you figure you survived the womb, to hell with everyone else.
