If the RNC concedes to liberalism, there’s nothing I can do to stop it.

...unless, that is, Rudy is planning a 125th trimester abortion. That’s a bit extreme, even for him.

Well of-course Giuliani leads in Connecticut. According to the American Conservative Union these are the kinds of politicians elected from Connecticut :

Christopher J. Dodd, conservative rating - 15
Joseph I. Lieberman, conservative rating - 0
John B Larson, conservative rating - 20
Rosa L. DeLauro, conservative rating - 20
Christopher H. Shays, conservative rating - 48

Even the one Republican can't manage a 50 % conservative rating in Connecticut!!!

The Republican party has always been a party of diverse interests. Some fiscal conservatives some social conservatives some hawks and even some doves. In each election we don’t always get every thing we want but we get nothing we want from any of the dem candidates. What good is it to cause a split and lose everything we have worked for. If Rudy wins the primaries it will be because people feel he is a strong leader won’t take $hit from the dems or press and will keep this country secure, not because he is pro choice or was for some gun control. Believe me Rudy would be Mr. Conservative compared to Hillary.

LIBERAL ALERT!

***SIGH*** People like you are turning this site into fringe central. I mean, really. This behavior is getting embarrassing. State the case why the man is wrong instead of all this running to daddy and bug zapping business. We're all guaranteed to lose if we keep running people out of town on a rail and holding lynchings.

You can laugh all you want but I guarantee you your taxes will raise significantly. Your guns will be grabbed your supreme court justice picks will make Souter look rt. of center and our medical system will be ruined. The war on terror will be fought in US courts and we will be victims of an attack worse then 911. Goodbye Patriot Act, NSA, and most other tools that have been successful in the WOT.

Rudy is a dyed-in-the-wool gungrabber. He has said Justice Ginsberg is just as good as Roberts. Rudy also, btw, loves publicly-funded abortions. As for WOT attacks, ask yourself why the emergency command bunker was placed inside a huge terrorism target. Ask yourself why the first responders’ radio frequencies still didn’t match EIGHT YEARS after the first attack.

Ultimately, though, if the RNC decides to nominate a liberal and forfeit the election to the DNC, any consequences are still their fault, not mine.

So?

As for taxes, did you know Rudy endorsed Cuomo in a fit of pique over Pataki’s proposed tax cuts?

“You go right ahead and concede this election to the dems and you’ll get more than your gun grabbed.”

Giving the nomination to Guiliani would accomplish the same goal.

If Rudy wins the primaries and loses to Hillary because people like you picked up their toys and went home then the social and fiscal fallout is on your shoulders as will be the risks to our security.

John - I’m with you...I think you have stated the political landscape of our country accurately and realisticly. As a conservative, I know we don’t have a winnable candidate next year, but as an American we HAVE to have someone who won’t sell our sovereignty as a free nation to the Arabs! Independents ARE the swing voters. We couldn’t even get good conservatives reelected in 2006 for the congress!

Oh no, not at all. The GOP is on notice. If they forfeit my vote, they forfeit my vote. I am not obliged to vote for whomever they say.

What are you, some kind of closet Soviet?

I’m for Fred Thompson, but I will support our Republican nominee over the prospect of a Hildabeast/Hussein Obama ticket. (Shudder)

"State the case why the man is wrong"

Because he would vote for Rudy.

***Latest rudybot talking points. Already starting to get old.

I guess it's ok to disagree with you on this thread since this is not the offical Stop Rudy thread. I pray that Fred Thomspon gets the Republican nomination, I think he can beat Hildabeast, but failing that I will support the official nominee of the Republican party. If Rudy is the nominee, he will be at his worst better than what Hildabeast/Hussein Obama ever could be at their best.

I see no way that Duncan Hunter can win, he just doesn't have the name recognition, and I doubt he has time to develop same said recognition. That being said, if Duncan is the nominee I will work my *ss off for him.

And by the way your anti Rudy bots talking points and attacks have gotten just as old.

"..the social and fiscal fallout is on your shoulders as will be the risks to our security."

Do we not already have social and security problems in this country?

And how did they develop? Did the Republicans not have a Republican majority in both the Senate and the House, and a Republican President at the same time? And did we see any significant reduction in the size and scope of the federal government during that time? Did we see any significant improvement in the social issues during that time?

No, I'm not accepting any responsibility for something that has already occurred.

No I’m not a closet Soviet but I am a member of an organized party. Strength through numbers you know, instead of bitching from the sidelines I choose to try to have some influence in elections. I worked very hard for both of Reagan’s campaigns as well as the Bushes. Was I let down by these presidents, sure in a few things. Reagans supreme court picks, Bush 1s tax increases as well as court pick and Bush 2 not using his veto pen to reign in spending as well as his refusal to fight back but, would I change any of the votes I cast absolutely not. Any one that the majority of Republican voters put up as their nominee is preferable to a left wing Marxist.

Oh, me too.

But if my party abandons me, that's too bad for them: one less vote, a little less money.

I stand by my principles even if my party abandons them. That is an instance of them rejecting me, NOT vice versa.
