Regrettably, you are correct. That is always the issue, it’s just that it now has to be dealt with in our own house. That it has come to this is what is both tragic and disturbing.

Well, if he really intends to "declare war" on conservatism, and adopt an "in your face" attitude about abortion, he's dead meat. He might have finessed the issue if he had wanted to and been clever, but this sounds like a suicide dive and "going out in a blaze of glory."
